How do I deal with Projectile Characters?

Hi y'all! I'm relatively new to Smash, I played a bit of melee after my friends but I didn't play it at all, and I got Smash Ultimate for my switch and I'm having a good time in the Adventure mode and in regular smash. I started playing a lot of Incineroar but I been having problems with projectile characters like Ness, Lucas, Dark Samus/Samus and Olimar/Alph. I find it really hard to catch them while they spam projectiles at me, anyone got any advice that could help me improve?

A lot of players have a kind of pattern to their projectiles. If you stay back and block for a little bit just to observe what they're doing, you might start to guess what moves they'll be throwing out and you can work on dodging accordingly.

ALSO, since you play Incineroar, when you think they'll throw a projectile, just use revenge. You'll counter the hit and be a really big threat to them. Be sure not to use revenge too much though, otherwise they'll start to guess when you'll use it and will be able to punish you.
