How do I customize the end of my messages?

Loads of people on Smashboards are able to this thing where they have a dotted line at the end of every message and below is a picture or just anything cool. How do I make one of these

That's a signature! Hover your username at the top right hand corner of the page (where the Alerts and Conversation icons are placed), and click on "Signature". Hope this helps.
