How do I change the ban stage icon?

You mean the "X mark" for stage strike? To change that use brawlbox and go to your sd card. then go to projectm/pf/menu2/sc_selmap.pac and open it. Go down to "miscdata[80]", expand that, go to textures. scroll down till you find "MenSelmapIcon.XX". (BB should look like this...)

Right click, export as a png, edit it and then replace the texture you exported with your new one and you're done! I hope that helped.
