HOW DO I BEAT IVY

I have looked on matchup threads and have gotten a slight consensus on who to play against ivysaur but how should you play against Ivy. I always have trouble with the matchup no matter who I play. What are good strategies and stage selections in this Matchup

Link, Shiek, Yoshi is who i usually main. Viable with Lucas and roy but Lucas was super nerfed. Also have a decent Falco. Pretty much will be willing to learn anyone to beat Ivy. Not sure how Ivy plays after the update though.

If you're any good with Marth, he's probably Ivy's worst matchup. Ivy's recovery is terrible now, so Marth can just edgehog to force Ivy to ledgejump (which lasts a full second IIRC), waveland fsmash for the kill. Also Marth can easily combo Ivy and most of the time will outspace her, which is Ivy's gameplan to begin with, and he's just faster than Ivy too. I don't fully know the matchup, but that much I do know.

I dunno if I agree with "Marth will outspace Ivy". Maybe I missed the patch notes on massive moves like Bair and Dtilt

However, this patch with the nerfs I'd def agree Marth is probably the way to go if you know what you are doing.
