How do I beat a Shulk?

My friend plays Shulk and I just can't beat him with Sheik.
Every move of his just out ranges mine and I can't get to him.
Please help, I'd appreciate it.

wait for him to overcommit and then attack him. When shulks are in the air they tend to nair a lot, so dash attack, baited nair into something else would be good. Also, approach with shield.
