Buffer a D-air as you SH and don't fastfall it. Also, a buffered fullhopped D-air NEVER has landing lag.

This is easily done by having your thumb on both the Y and A button.

version 2 of this is, tap jump up, immediately tap c-stick down. works great for me, and helps add horizontal distance, which you really really want
