How do codes like the level freezer work for P:M 3.6?

So since theres all this new ASL stuff going on, if i wana use the stage freezer code on say rainbow cruise, would that slow down peaches castle as well? Or would it only slow down rainbow cruise?

If that is confusing then maybe this can be answered.. is each stage considered its own stage now by the gct? Or do alternate stages share info with other stages?

they are considered their own stage i think, IIRC thats how WarioLand/WarioWare and Castle Siege(s) works

If the stage freeze code affects the "slot," say STGDXRCRUISE's stage ID slot and not just the individual file (which is unlikely), then it's probably gonna affect the alts for that stage as well.

Alt stages can now have their own separate .rel files, that's how we're able to have microgames warioware and warioland on the same slot ID, or have PS2 and PS1 on the same slot ID. The .rels allow them to function as originally intended, but in essence it's still over 1 slot ID.

Hm ok. So right now if i wana affect rainbow cruise, what id would i use in the stage freezer?
