How difficult is the Teleport to pull off?

Well, normally anyways. My controller's control stick is messed up, but I have been able to pull it off a few times. However, even though this was with difficulty, I was able to do it consistently enough that I think it isn't too difficult with a non-broken controller. So how difficult is it to do?

It is harder for me because my control stick is broken. The only other controller we have, which is far better than the one I'm using, has mysteriously stopped working. I guess I could always remove the broken stick and replace it with the good one.

how do you do the sliding?

i do like a loop with control stick, the other way may be easier but i think its hard to do an attack after the sliding.

i use my left hand to do double laser i cant jump and press B quickly with the same finger :S

That works, all that's important is that you jump during the right frame of your characters turnaround animation (must not be in initial dash of course).

It's a timing thing for me. At first I could rarly do it but over time, I was able to do it about 60-70% of the time. It's really fun to use in matches once you know how to do it but I never try unless I'm on a good day and can do it almost 100% of the time.

Kinda like Melee Samus' SWD. It's fun to mess around with :p

samus' SWD in melee is a glitch with the morph ball animation
stand on the ground and drop a bomb. then on one frame slam a direction (left or right) (i think is frame 45 or something) and then the next frame slam it the other way and u slide

the best samus' never or rarely used this technique, the one who really makes it sexy is phanna

How do you do a teleport? I keep trying to do a dash, hit the opposite direction then jump. But I get it maybe 1/15 of the time.

It's better to do a 270 DEGREE motion from FORWARD, DOWN, BACK, UP. I think you can also 180 DEGREE motion and just jump with the C buttons I'm not sure if you get the full slide though. I do it both ways.

Indeed, I get better results from the 270 degree circle. E.g. If I do it directly into jiggly's up+b I get a ridiculously long slide

It's possible to do without pressing down or up at all

I've only done it on keyboard though.

/sarcasm?

Lmao...Wtf is teleporting anyway.
I figured sarcasm but then I saw two posts on the topic, and started believing otherwise. My bad!

Anyway it's the teleport that Jiggly, Samus and Fox can all do, with Jiggly having the most noticeable and useful one. Basically it's dash in one direction, while dashing hit the other direction, and jump on the right frame. In Isai videos where he's playing as Jiggly you'll see him pull it off to warp around into aerials and specials. You can do it into an upsmash, too.

You probably already know about this, but just figured I'd answer the question anyway

I never knew that was called teleport o_O. Sounds more like speed dash or Super dash...It's all about dash and nothing about teleportation. Unless teleportation has a new meaning?

What is the frame I should be jumping at? I keep trying but I am only able to do this if I double dash into one direction then 180 backwards and jump. I get a small teleport but then the jump is just a regular one.

That video was the first time i saw the usefullness of teleporting. I need to learn how to play this game better, my friend keeps beating me and trash talking although he can barely beat me and can't stock me anymore. 'TIS ANNOYING.

If you start playing online, and learning combos you'll leave him in the dust :)

I have been playing online for a month or so now, I only know a few combos but I tend to miss them a lot. I can juggle a bit with kirby. Care to play and teach me a bit?
