How did you play when you didn't know how to wavedash?

10 stock, Hyrule only, anyone? At the very beginning, I played Falcon cause he was my fav from SSB. Then after realizing how diff he was, I started experimenting on other char's, finally settling on Sheik just before the time I began learning about all the adv techs, who I stuck with for my first 2 years of competative Smash. Since then I've switched to Falco, and now I main IC's and 2nd Falco. Fun stuff to revisit the history...

Before wavedashing I played Fox and tried to win without knowing how to shine someone off the edge --> learned how to wavedash and played luigi --> was terrible with luigi so I dropped him and picked up Doc --> Picked up IC's because of wobbling --> picked up falco because he ***** people with dair, SHL, etc.
