I'll admit, I'm still very new to the boards and I'm seeing this section of the boards having quite a number of 'looking for sparring partner' trends so I thought this might be a much more appropriate as a topic.
I've always found it very difficult to find other players who would be a very similar level of skill as me when it comes to multi-player for an enjoyable experience. With Smash due to the numerous viewpoints and ways to play; it can make a simple search rather difficult and frustrating. Mainly the people I play with Smash online with are just people I hang out with on Skype who had Smash anyway.
So I made this post out of curiosity. I'm sure everyone has friends who enjoy playing Smash Bros with and I'm sure everyone ran into them in different ways. How did you find your closest Smash buddies?
