Hello Smashboards! I can't claim to be particularly active here but I was curious about how other people got started in competitive Smash. And how do you feel about your scenes? I'd appreciate anything you've got and are willing to share.

I myself only started my competitive journey less than a year ago, but what really reeled me in was actually brawl minus. I saw the character vid for fox, remembered hearing that melee fox was good, and so it began. The super high tech ceiling awed me and I was hooked, so I found gc controllers and the melee. So shoutouts to the Minus team for that.

YOUTUBE. Before I thought Smash was a casual party game easy to pick up and but very hard to master. My first Smash was Brawl. My Wii had no Internet Connection, so R.I.P online play. I started watching Zero and Dabuz and got interested!
