How come everything bad happens to me as meta knight?

Seriously,it seems only when im using meta knight do i accidently do the wrong specails,drop the controler even, and tend to lose to people who i can obviously tell arent really the best players.Not only that but sometimes things just dont do what they should, i can do a down specail very obviously onto a ledge thats directly behind me and i end up at the bottom of the map.
