In a situation where it is an Omega stage though, because that seems to be where Sonic has the advantage. What am doing wrong is Luigi just too slow? It's also very difficult to pressure with fireballs because he is too swift. Any tips tricks? Thanks. :040::4luigi:

Fireballs stop his neutral b, which is like, 400% of his approaches. Also, keep in mind that after 3-4 seconds (I can't remember) of being in his ball state, he's vulnerable to pretty much anything.

You can also tech out of his down throw which is huge.

IMO this match up is 60/40 in favor of Luigi. You just have to get used to Sonic's speed and realize that your fireball stops most of his approach options

Up-smash I find works pretty well too. It has good priority and speed to stop attacks from above. Plus if you remember that the attack starts at the back of the head, it has an incredibly fast hitbox.

Looking at your face
Fireballs and Fireballs and even more Fireballs and fire even more impossible amount of Fireballs. They stop Spin Dash/Charge, as well as disrupting him in the air.

And also, if you see him doing Homing Attack, RIGHT when he shots to you, roll out. He will bounce on the ground, leaving him vunreable for a free U-smash.

And keep in mind that he has no normals that outspeeds your own except for F-air.
