How can I update Project M?

Hi,

I have v2.1 and want to know how to update my 2gb Sd card.

Downloading and exporting 2.6 to the SD card and replacing the files should update the game. If you encounter freezes, just format the SD card and put in the new version on it's own.

It says on the official site that you have to delete the old version to update to 3.0. DO I have to esrase my SD card, or can I just update it normally?
