How can I replace the special alts. ?

I've notice, whenever I try to download a mod in PM, and I replace the models of the special alts. the model stays the same.

For example, If I didn't want Dry Bowser, and I replace the costume with a mod I downloaded, The Dry Bowser model does not change. The CSP'S and BP'S do, just not the model.

Anybody knows how to actually replace them?

It's the same method of replacing standard costumes as mentioned in the previous thread you made. If the Brawl managers aren't getting you the desired results, just try renaming the costume you downloaded, both the pac and pcs file, to the correct name. There's no gimmick or "actual" method to go about it.

I'm actually using Brawl Manager though, I'm also renaming the pac and .pcs files as well. They aren't working.

Don't use brawl managers.
Do it manually.
