Smash 3DS Hosting without the L button?

Is there any other button that I can press to start a game that I've hosted, be it online or in-person? My L button is completely fried, and though I've been able to remap the controls, I still need it to host. But the thing is, the other person cannot always host. So are there any other buttons that I can press in order to start a hosted game? Thanks in advance.
