Horrible frame-rate drops online

I'm experiencing horrible frame-rate drops while playing online. starts with 50-60 and it drops as low as 10-20 which is absolutely unplayable. My wi-fi connection is outstanding, no lag whatsoever with any game.
I Guess I'm going to have to play offline only

well if its not your internet, its your opponent's internet. plenty of people I play against don't frame drop and I have a little above average wireless internet.

It certainly not the game's fault, as I can play most of my matches without any traces of lag.

I was lagging every match earlier on today but now it seems to have cleared up.

During the four matches I had today, I experienced no lag whatsoever.
Perhaps you are just unlucky with your opponents. Does it happen all the time ?

1) What you are experiencing is lag from the online, not framerate drops.

2) If your internet is as good as you say it is, it is probably your opponent's connection, and matches like this will happen every once in a while. If it is constantly happening every time, you need to check your own internet. The connection is p2p after all.
