Hi all, I have recently discovered due to how springy the left analog stick is on my HORI pad when I release it it will sometimes perfect pivot! Was wondering if this actually works or I am insane/have a weird left analog stick.

Mine does the same thing too. However, it's inconsistent so I stopped using that controller.

So, would either of you say the HORI is worth the purchase if you can't currently purchase the adapter?
I think the Hori battle pad is worth the purchase. It seems like he was actually talking about the PDP Fight Pad which I don't reccomend for Smash at all.

Yes I really like the HORI although it is different than using a GameCube controller, it takes adjusting to the more sensative thumbstick, although the new Pikachu one looks really cool if that has any influence on purchase. Also I hear tell of the mayflash 4 port adapter being decent if not spot on.

On your controller, what color is the Joystick?

No I have a Mario HORI pad, but I agree do not get PDP that's some high quality garbage.

The thumb stick is gray, and the c stick is yellow.
Oh, well this one the HORI Battle Pad turns me off to buy it now. The Hori Battle Pad does the same thing....

I need a gamecube adapter now.

I'm currently using the Pro but will eventually come back to PM. Can't use the Pro for virtual console via Wii or Wii games, so I may purchase a HORI. <.<

Purchase a wireless Gamecube controller adapter. It connects to the wii mote and registers as a classic controller.

I was wanting a Hori battlepad for Project M as well but I might as well just get a Wii HDMI converter and continue playing on wii since the Hori pad has the joystick flick issue.
