Home-Run Bat is Chargable!

In Melee, it was only a Happy-Go-Lucky chance of hitting an oppenent. But now, as seen in the second of Ikki's DDD VS. Ike videos, you can actually charge the bat up. Look around 2:05for when Ike picks up the bat, and charges it. It goes longer than usual and is without a doubt, chargable.

Do you think some other items like the home run bat from Melee will be chargable or have a different purpose or technique? Will it be chargable for everyone or just some?

Or just maybe it takes longer to use now.....everyone i've seen using the bat took longer, about the same time

No, when you did a Smash Attack with the Home-Run Bat, you automatically Hit the air or someone/something.

wasnt the beam sword chargable in melee??? if its not it should be and so should the home run bat

The Bat WAS chargable in Melee though (try it with Cpt. Falcon, Smash Forward A, and then with a charged smash A).
But I guess its back then.

homerun bat and beam sword was always chargable. just not as long as a smash attack

Nobody is understanding. He is trying to say Chargable BEYOND the charge needed for Melee and SSB64

What's everyone talking about? The homerun bat was never chargeable, and surely not in Melee. Captain Falcon and Sheik just had a double swing when you press up after smashing.
