yeah. wait till i get the matchup thread done. it will be up tomorrow for sure. but at night though. i am working on it at the moment, along with the stage selection, along with attending a tourney yesterday, working an 11 hour job(daily), and also with spending time with ny friends and gf. a lot is going on. please be a little more patient. you've been excellent so far.

Dont forget you can chain grab, but it is very hard to do on ike- off by even a few frames and he can spot dodge it. you have to play ike defensivly- if you are offensive that sword will eat you ALIVE. it will kille pika as low as 30 with an fsmash uncharged. Tjolt spam is highly effective, and messes with quickdraw. overall this should be a pika advantage, but if you make a mistake say goodbye to a stock.

how does your ike friend play? you have to play based off of that, and his moves are deceptive in range and speed. if you can shield his quickdraw or any laggy attack, then you either get a free grab or smash, esp. if you power shield. but if you can force his hand by conditioning him to expect a tjolt for so and so situation, then you can easily change it up and QAC over to him with a Nair which has good knockback. just from my experience, the only way Ike can win is if he can out-predict you, or rarely uses smashes

I can't say that I have had a lot of trouble with Ike.
He can easily be chain grabbed. His quick draw can be stopped by thunder jolts. With the exception of his bair his airs are pretty slow, so don't be too afraid of chasing him in the air. QAC can be pretty effective against him, but don't do it too much. If he catches on he can knock you out of it with one of his smashes, and those hurt really bad (death as low as 80%).
