Hitting Platinum Club Nintendo Status NA

I'm 100 coins from hitting Platinum this year. I have a feeling that due to the program being discontinued, the Platinum members are going to be getting something unique.

What's the cheapest way to get 100 coins?

I'm planning to buy Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. I wonder if it'll be worth coins, still. Nintendo said that items produced after 1/20/15 won't be worth coins, but Monster Hunter has to be in production already to meet the demand. Here's hoping.

I think Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will get you 60 coins + 10 from the extra survey (If memory serves me correctly anyways, 3DS games might actually be 40 coins) I think if you want to reach plat, the best thing I can think of is buying new copies of games that hit the market before the 20th. It's expensive, but I don't know what to tell you besides that, unless you can maybe ask friends for their codes if they haven't been used.

Or you could be constantly buying and re-selling complete copies of used Wii U games. Sometimes, the person who is selling the used game never got an account on Club Nintnendo, so you could get some signifigant coinage if you get lucky. Unfortunately, if you get unlucky, you get no profit and have to pay some shipping costs and waste a lot of time.
