Hitmonchan:Iron Fist setup

Me and my friend were battlin, and this was his setup for his hitmonchan....(non-ou battle)

Hitmonchan(M) Iron Fist
Item: Choice Band
Adamant Nature
evs: 255att 255hp

Mach Punch
Pursuit
Ice Punch
Thunder Punch

This is the setup, just wanted to know everyones thoughts on this because ive never seen it to use before but i dont be on wi-fi so......

Why no Speed EVs?

Mach Punch got + priority, so it's probably it's main move.

Mach Punch will still only have 72 power, though. Hitmontop with Technician is better at abusing Mach Punch, thanks to the 8 more power(lol, it actually does make a difference). It is also better defensive.
The only reason to use Hitmonchan is because of the elementalpunches with 90 power. Thunderpunch is powerful enough to 2HKO Skarmory without Leftovers, which is pretty good. And still, it gets Close Combat which will be his most powerful STAB attack.

Well Focus Punch Of course gets stab too...but ive battle with it on wi-fi recently and it did okay.....I also with Chikos advice took a look at hitmontop which my friend had already started on(hes always one step ahead) but yeah they both work okay...There nothing thats gonna sweep and entire team, but there good nonetheless
