Highwata
Smash Rookie
Gee, I haven't used a forum is a very long time..
Hi! My name is Highwata, and I am a speedrunner from Canada. The games I run are Age of Empires II, Yoshi's Story, and more recently, a lovely platformer called Teslagrad. Over the last year or so, after being an avid Smash player/fan all my life, I decided to get into Smash competitively. I'm not the greatest player, but I am determined to be a name that you will hear at some point in the future on the biggest streams. I am dedicated to the game beyond belief. I spend much of my day watching old matchups of pros and practicing. Still, my improvement has plateaued. I main Sheik/Marth, and am trying to make my Puff not terrible currently.
A little about myself: I am in a media program at a local college here in Ontario, and it is here where I've finally been able to start attending weeklies. I also organized the biggest (and first) smash tournament for PM/Sm4sh in my area ever in July. I am very dedicated to the TOing part of Smash because it is part of the industry I want to get into: promotion. I want to eventually become an event promoter/organizer and TOing has helped me learn and gain experience in the field.
Why am I here? To make friends, stay in touch with the community, and to ultimately gain knowledge and become the best Smasher in my area. If you wanna chat, feel free to shoot me a message or drop by sometime when I stream!
