Smash Rookie
Hi everyone. I've been lurking around on the forums for a few months now, but I haven't posted anything until now.
I'm not exactly sure if I found the Smash community, or if the Smash community found me, but I've sort of been hanging around since 2011. I was playing Brawl with some friends in college, and one of them mentioned that I should join a tournament going on at an anime convention that was in town. I went, entered (small tournament, but I at least won 1 set in it using Toon Link, which I don't think was too bad for the first tourney I went to), and it was then that I learned of the community surrounding Smash Bros.. From then until 2012, I had entered a couple other Brawl tourneys in the area (best I did was a doubles tourney with R.O.B. and Lucas, think we got to quarters there [the guy playing Lucas pretty much carried both of us, though]) but haven't really done anything with Smash since then. That is, until Smash 4 came around.
I was in a couple Smash Bros.-related groups on Facebook where we did some Smash Wii U tourneys online, but I've recently found another group that fellow Smash players in the area. Since then, I've finally been to a Smash 4 tournament in-person (didn't do too well, but I definitely still have much to learn), and hoping to go to several more in the future.
At the start of Smash 3DS, I mained my Brawl main, R.O.B.. Around the time Smash Wii U came out, I switched to Falco. It was a couple months ago when I really started playing with Pac-Man, learning what he can do (watched a lot of Zage and Abadango using them, got me re-interested in Pac-Man), and now he's currently my main in Smash 4.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U:
Main: Pac-Man
Secondary: Toon Link
Pockets: Fox, Falco, Pit/Dark Pit, R.O.B.
