hey guys im new here to smashboards, nice to meet you all!

but anyways, i got a issue with my project m.

with 2 of my stages, the music will be playing sounding normal, but after a short while it "cuts off" and changes to another song from a totally different stage for like 30 secs then goes back to its original stage song.

i find this very annoying and i cant figure it out. im sure its something quite simple cause it ALWAYS is lol.

if you know what im speaking of, pleaaaaaase help me out :) THANKS!

Welcome to the boards!

First of all, try removing your custom music from the SD card, and then adding the files back one by one.
If that doesn't work, try defragmenting the SD card.

Defragging doesn't delete anything. If you're on Windows, just open Disk Defragmenter, select your SD card, and click the defragment button on the bottom right. This usually fixes sound issues (this is a very common issue).

...unless you're on Windows 8/8.1, which don't let you defrag SD cards. In that case you would need a third-party tool like Defraggler.

Another "manual-defrag" method would be to drag everything off the card at the same time, and put them back on all at once.

I alternate between this method and using Auslogics Disc Defrag.
