Hi guys, new melee player here!

Tomorrow I'm headed out to Cornell University. I plan to join Cornell Smash, so I thought it would be a good time to make a smashboards account!

I used to be a brawl player, but I never made it out to tournaments then. I still have a lot of respect for brawl (and smash 4) from those days though. More recently, I started watching tournaments and I loved watching melee, so I gave it a serious try and now I'm hooked, so that's my new game of choice! I'm going to main Marth, because I love Fire Emblem and using Marth in melee is the most fun I've ever had playing smash! Nothing more satisfying than a tipper.

So the name: Est. Est is a character from Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (same as Marth) who joins the party late and at a low level. Just like me! But my goal is to train up and dominate just as much as Est can if you train her.

Looking forward to becoming part of the community and hopefully hitting my first tournament in not terribly long!
