Hi! I'm Denver! Although you can call me by my alias, Slapshack. 0-0. I kinda started playing smash as a young kid. I didn't have a wii but I went over to my friends houses and had a blast playing brawl. Of course, I had no idea about actually playing smash. Fast forward to sophomore year in high school. I had a 3ds and got smash 4 on launch. It was then that I learned about the real game. Stuff like tilts, not spamming dash attacks, air juggles, D.I's, edge guarding and the like. Unfortunately smash broke my circle pad so I quit. No last month, I got a wii u and smash. Getting into the nitty gritty is awesome, and I'm loving every minute of it.
- Who do you main in your Smash game(s) of choice? Why? : In smash 4, I was really torn between characters. I was pretty terrible with heavy characters and I couldn't seem to grasp more complicated characters like robin. I found my home with sonic. I love his speed which supplements his ground game, especially grabs. I love his specials as they leave you alot of flexiblity. Also, he's cool.
- Why have you joined Smashboards? How did you hear about the site? : My good friend kinda showed me the light of competitive smash, and I've been really getting into it. He showed me site.
- Do you attend tournaments? Do you want to? : I would love to, but I live near Boston, and unfortunately, there's no local tournaments around.
- Talk about your interests outside of Smash Bros.! Anime, sports, other games, etc. : I love RPGs and and never really tried any other fighting game. I am still in high school, so my time is sometimes bided. But recently, I've just been watching competitive smash ( which has been awesome \0_0/ ) I been huge into anime, which is always fun.
- What other communities are you a part of? Clubs at school, other forums? : I was part of an anime club at school, but I lost interest. Don't really have any other internet presence besides this!
