Hey, I'm Andrew. Been playing Smash since the very first, but I haven't gotten into the competitive side until recently after the release of 4. After playing 4 with friends and family irl and online quite a bit. A friend convinced me to pick up Melee again and since then I haven't stopped. Honestly I am a lot better at Melee than 4, but I'm working on that. My mains for both games are Sheik and Peach, Peach being my favorite character and Sheik being the most fun for me to play. I'll sometimes play some King Dedede and Captain Falcon in 4 just for fun.

I'm hoping that maybe I can find more local stuff using this site, either local events or just other uses in my area to go up against. Looking to see how I stack up against most players.

Anyways, I hope I can find a cool time on here, pleased to meet the lot of you.

Of course we are pleased to meet you too. Welcome to Smashboards. how nice a Peach main. Peach is usually in a quarrel with my Zelda for who is my top #1 main. I have chosen Zelda but Peach always finds a way to match her. it's like two girls for the same boy and the boy can't decide really. Anyway stories aside, yes there are forum sections for tourneys and local gatherings. You might find that very helpful to you. I hope you can battle many opponents and see how you fair in the competitive side. Wish you luck and have fun at the boards!

I play sheik as well in melee and I dabble with peach (those turnips just oh so fun) anyway, if your looking to either find or get involved with your local scene I'd suggest checking out here for your regional zone!
