Hey - who's your secondary?

Like the title says. But if you can, whittle it down to just one character, if not - fine.
Either way what's your secondary?
And why?

Also, just to add - my secondary has to be DK. I don't know why I love the big guy, maybe it's his tie, maybe it's the fact we share the same initials. All I know is I have a connection with the character, not only from his games, but from the way he plays, he hits hard and he can chase you off stage for days!

This is tough, haha. DK is my main, and when I'm playing him I feel like I'm wearing pajamas at home. I'm super comfortable and everything makes sense. He always responds the way I expect him to.

I don't really have that with any other character, so I play a lot of guys but I dunno if I'm comfortable enough with any of them to say they're a secondary.

I guess if I had to pick, it'd be either Diddy, Sheik or Marth, but even saying that makes me nervous. I'm really awful with Diddy in PM, and I love playing as Marth but there's some fairly basic Marth things that I'm terrible at. (Like, trying to do Jab-Tilt and instead I just do Jab-Jab-Jab and usually get immensely punished. @_@)

So... I think I'd go with Sheik.

Wolf. Which is strange, considering my spiel on swords and reach in the "Who do you main and why" thread. But much like Ike, something about Wolf just clicked with me when I first picked him up. I noticed that Wolf was one of the few characters that had something approaching a combo game in Brawl. It was hilariously sad when one afternoon, while practicing to beat a good friend of mine, I decided to experiment with Wolf. This was after seeing a couple P:M videos and watching chillin's Wolf style all over his opponents. The sad thing was that almost instantly, I was much better with Wolf than I had ever been with Ike (In Brawl). I could beat opponents that were near insurmountable to Ike (see: Wario, Snake) with very little practice. It was pretty ... I don't know, I had some weird feelings about it. But I was annoyed.

When I transitioned to P:M, regular practice turned my Ike into an absolute monster, but Wolf was always close behind. The P:M team and the new engine which actually encourage combos rather than try to prevent them were very, very kind to him. Wolf's attacks are all so silky smooth, polished and practically linked into each other. Whatever the opponent DIs, if I'm playing on point I have a move to follow up with. Bair, Uair, Fsmash, Dsmash, doesn't matter, I'll always land something. With very accurate reads and good execution I've literally taken opponents on a tour of the stage before dunking them (which, apologies to Flash, is still the best way to kill with Wolf. Sorry.) There isn't a character in P:M I'm uncomfortable fighting as Ike, but Wolf, man ... his flows are just so ill.

I can play a good without really thinking all that much. With though I really have to concentrate on my play style to even be decent.

- He's hard to hit, insanely slippery, and requires quick thinking and fast fingers. Definitely my second-most favorite characters (behind Lucario, who's my main). I also believe he effectively covers Lucario's weaknesses, since Lucario has a whole bunch of trouble fighting light, floaty characters that can get out of combos. Squirtle, with his upsmash and dthrow, kills them brilliantly.

- I've always loved her in Melee and even Brawl, her down smash is insane, and Shadow Queen Peach is also beyond awesome. Plus, she's super fun to play as in matchups you just kinda suck in (Link for me)

right now, pikachu. i mained pika in brawl and he is a lot different now in pm. QA/QAC feels so much harder in pm... i may change to a diddy secondary cause he's always a lot of fun.

Right now, Bowser and Ivy. But mostly Bowser. I have limited experience playing this game outside of my group of friends, but I've noticed that my Bowser is my best counter against Wario and Squirtle (with them at least). I'm working on Yoshi and Olimar too.

I just picked up Mario. Well, I exclusively use the Doc costume but semantics. This character is just so much fun and so good. Good projectile, good neutral game, very unique and versatile tool in cape and Ganon's Fair. Doc is the Ba-Bomb.

My Wolf game has unfortunately stalled because the spacies have a higher skill floor than a lot of other characters and I'm unable to incorporate Shine shenanigans into my game. So currently I'm sharpening my Mario. Will probably go back to Wolf once I crack the tech barrier.

Right now it's between four characters:

Roy, Wolf, Captain Falcon, and Falco.

I picked up Wolf and Falco in Brawl but didn't really get into practicing with them until Project M. I had Roy and Captain Falcon from Melee but I couldn't bring myself to drop either of them.

Currently, I'm looking for someone to replace Falco with. He's fun but he's messing with my Fox and Wolf timings and I want to pick up another Brawl character without playing too many characters.

Weird thing happened to me: I downloaded a Zero skin for Marth and his sword went back to Brawl length. ... wut.

Also, I just picked up Mario. Good goddamn does this character FLOW. Good combos, good throws, good kill moves, good projectile and DAMN that cape. Wolf has serious competition now.

That said, I think he's a little more fun to play.
