Obligatory noob post here. So I'm just gonna answer the questions mentioned in the suggestion thread.


Q: Who do you main in 64/Melee/Brawl/SSB4?
A:

• I have only played Smash 64 once and when I played it I played only Luigi so I guess I main Luigi!
• I have only recently (Meaning this week) gotten into the Melee scene because Apex 2014 was just awesome, just mustered up enough cash to buy Melee and a Gamecube controller. I plan on maining Roy in Melee because he kinda stood out to me, he also seems really fun to play IMHO.
• I've been Playing Brawl since 2008 only started competitive play about this year. I main both Mario and King D3 in Brawl and I would say that I'm fairly decent with both. I have only attended one small Brawl tournament that my community was hosting, 32 players about. Somehow ended up winning it all. How? No clue.
• Sm4sh is where I have my biggest problem. As you can tell from my signature, I wish to main a ton of people in the new game. I have a personal rule that I can only main up to 3 characters in any Smash game just to keep consistency. So I don't know how I will go about deciding who I want to main, I guess whoever stands out to me the most.
• Project M main is Charizard because he's got that power.

Q: Why have you joined Smashboards?
A:

• I joined Smashboards because it was constantly mentioned throughout the documentary and decided to check it out and immediately fell in love. An entire discussion website dedicated to all things Smash? Yes please. I also wish to get much better at Melee and enter tournaments eventually so I would love help with this endeavor.

Q: Do you attend tournaments? Do you want to?
A:

• As mentioned above, I've only attended one tournament in my life and it was a success, but that was Brawl. I really wish to join the Melee scene and compete in tournaments around the country, that's on my to do list. However here in New York, we don't have that big of a Smash scene (In Western New York anyways) so that will be quite difficult.

Q: Talk about your interests outside of Smash Bros.
A:

• I spend my time either playing Smash, playing Pokemon, on the internet, or listening to music. I used to play football back in the day but that is far gone. I also do crew (It's basically just rowing boats).

Q: What other communities are you a part of?
A:

• As mentioned above I'm a huge fan of the Pokemon series, I've played all the games. My favorite would have to be HeartGold just due to the fact that it's an HD remake of my old favorite game but they did so much more with it. I play it competitively also, fairly decent at that. Still working out some decision making kinks however.
• Love playing Skyrim, that **** is awesome, have wasted many hours on that. I regret nothing.

Welcome to Smashboards!

I generally pick my characters based off of my personal connection with them in their games outside of Smash Bros. As stated in my sig, I rep characters from certain franchises only for the most part. That's the first standard. Second, from those characters, I see whoever fits into how I like to play best and work with them from then on. It's a bit of a process, but it always works out for me since I always at least end up with one character who is really good overall, so I get to be happy
