Smash Rookie
Hey everybody! I've been a casual fan of the series since the N64 days, but I only became aware of the competitive scene this summer after watching the Smash documentary and then watching some tournaments on twitch (Evo 2015, Super Smash Con, PAX Prime). Watching those rekindled my passion for the game, and I've been having a lot of fun trying to learn the games' advanced tech and strategies. After reading some of the guides and matchup threads on this website, I decided to join the boards, though I'll probably be more of a lurker.
I'm trying to main ZSS in Sm4sh - I just really like how hard and fast she hits haha. Aside from her, I loved playing as Fox on the N64 and Marth in Melee. Never got too into Brawl, but I am enjoying playing Project M. As far as playing in tourneys, I would like to next year. Definitely have a lot of aspects I need to work on first though as I'm currently just a lowly scrub.
Outside of playing Smash, I like learning different instruments (guitar, drums, piano) and making/listening to music. Love The Beatles, The Smiths, Jeff Buckley, Sufjan Stevens, Kate Bush, and the list goes on and on. Big fan of the early seasons of The Simpsons, and I enjoy watching Rick and Morty (hence the username). I don't play any other games regularly, but Zelda was always my favorite series. I'm also pretty stoked for Metal Gear Solid V next week.
Well, that's it about me. I'm looking forward to being a member on here and maybe making some new friends.
