Smash Rookie
What's up smashboards. I should probably make an account here lol.
My name is Harrison, I'm 18 years old and from Houston, TX. I started playing melee competitively when I was 15, took a long hiatus, and took it up again pretty recently (started practicing tech again this last summer). I love the game so much, love the community, everything. As of now I haven't entered a tourney in a long time, but I plan to.
I go to boarding school at a place called Dublin School in Dublin, NH. If you live near there and play melee, TELL ME. I want to enter the New Hampshire scene since I'm there as much as I am here in Houston. I'm on the facebook page for NH too.
I really like Sheik, Falco, Marth, and Peach. Sheik is definitely my most solid character. I have fun playing basically anyone...I often practice several characters every time I sit down to play. I'd define my play style as technical (not saying I'm a tech god at all). I'm trash at the game, but my strengths lie in good movement, decent character-specific tech, and punish game. I'm trying to get better at neutral and playing cerebrally.
Other than smash, I really like school. I'm a huge nerd, love every subject. Favorite is math. I'm an athlete too, not amazing. Cross country and basketball are my two main sports. I really love just running for fun, going at a nice, easy pace and jamming to music. Music is another hobby I love. I'm ok at piano but a pretty good singer. I sing in both a regular old choir and an a capella choir at my school. I'm always listening to music.
Please hit me up on here! If you love melee, chances are I'll love you. The social side of smash is really important to me too. Going to tourney's and meeting sick new people is one of the best parts of playing melee. Other than, you know, ftilt fairing noobs and stuff.
