Heya y'all !
I'm Dadrik, and I'm new here (obviously)
I've been reading guides here for a few weeks and I figured I'd join the party
I've played a little bit of Melee/Brawl as a child at a friends' house, not owning the games or the consoles myself, and I've been playing SSB4 on 3DS casually since Day One.
But fortunately, two weeks ago I had the opportunity to join the Wii U fam, and here I am !
I joined simply because I really like the Smash community, having discovered it January 2015 when a local Team was created and started organizing Weeklies. Lucky me, one of my best friends was part of that team and kinda brought me there, and even though I got shredded to pieces, I had a blast. Ever since, I have my weekly dose of Smash every Monday, even though I only got the game very recently.
But sadly, where I live (Strasbourg, France), we don't have a competitive scene comparable to the US's, for example.
I don't really have a "main" yet, but i'm starting to know my way around some characters such as Shulk (not that good but so much fun), Pikachu, Ness, and Cloud (I mean, a FF character in Smash, I had to play him).
With an average of 40-45 players each tournament, I usually rank from 25th to 13th (I got 9th once :v), so as you might have realized, I'm not exactly great at this game, but hey, I'm learning !
I'm also studying for a Bachelor's Degree of Earth Sciences, I'm a Video Games fan in general, and a Music/Cinema/Sports enthusiast
I'm also on Anther's Ladder, trying to git gud (but mostly failing), so if you wanna play sometimes, just ask away, even though I don't have too much free time, I'd be glad to
