Well, I finally joined up on Smashboards. I first saw the website ~6 months ago, it was around January, and decided to join up about a week ago.
~6 months ago I was reading some guides to do with a character, since I was pretty new to Smash 4 and wanted to get into it some more (I remembered playing Brawl a lot, but not competitively whatsoever). Recently, I've come back to the website using it more and more looking at things like matchups, combos and things that people having discussed about certain characters. While I was reading the Lucas PK Love thread (hey ;p) I thought why not join up? So I did and started to interact with all of the other guys excited about Lucas. That leads up to now...
Like I said, I've decided to pick up Smash 4. I did initially get the demo, but held off on the actual game for a while. In April, I got a Wii U and have been working towards becoming better at the game since then. My problem is that I can't seem to stick to one character, I just kind of go to all different ones once I've got the gist of one. I'd say my best characters are Ness and Zelda, though. I have started to focus on specific characters recently though, thankfully, Ness mostly though but the new DLC has kind of messed up my time with him
. So yeah, I'd say Ness, among Zelda, Lucas and Roy are my mains and secondaries.
Tournaments. This, I don't really know about. I've never attended one, but I'd like to. I think I should a bit to improve before I do that type of thing. That and not a lot of tournaments are in my area at the moment, so I guess I'm on a wait until that happens. More time to improve, I suppose :]
