Hi everyone!

My name is bebebibby! I'm a long-time casual player who's just beginning the first few months of her competitive Smash journey. You can call me BBB! :kirby:

I happened across the Smashboards while searching for guides about Ultimate! I've been a casual player since Brawl, and have always enjoyed a good round of Smash at a birthday party or two, but I've never learned how to play at an advanced level.
Recently, I decided to try taking the games more seriously after learning that my boyfriend has 6+ years of experience in competitive play, and that he's looking for a skilled opponent. My goal is to better myself at the fundamentals of Ultimate, and surprise him with a bit more of a challenge each time we play while learning at my own pace. :^)

I've been working towards this goal for ~3 months now! Corrin is my current main while I learn the basics of movement, and work on figuring out all of the bigger, loaded phrases, like winning neutral and reading my opponent. I'm especially looking to improve my understanding of how to play effectively against other players, and hopefully conquer the feeling of being overwhelmed by the fast pace of the game.
I'm pretty efficient at doing repeated motions in training mode, but an actual match can make me forget a lot of the things I've been practicing in the heat of the moment. It's been an uphill battle for me, but I'm relatively patient and ready to learn!

Outside of playing Smash, I'm a college student studying illustration! I love to draw and play other games like Pokémon, Monster Hunter, and Final Fantasy XIV.
I'm also a part-time circulation clerk at a local library in my community, and I love reading manga/webtoons.

I hope to learn from and get to know some of you all!
