Alright guys so I need help with learning how to moonwalk with fox. I know how to wave shine but I can't get the moon walk at all. Any idea how to practice.

i've never quite been able to moonwalk with any char. It's pretty much the only thing i can't do. I'm very sceptical about the standard explanation for it because it just seems too damn impossible even though everyone says it's easy.

From another topic:
For Captain Falcon you can just moonwalk the standard way. For spacies the best method is to start out walking and then dash the opposite direction to start your moonwalk. Lots of characters can also get more distance with their moonwalks if you start by wavedashing the direction that you will be traveling (not facing) when moonwalking.

How to moonwalk in general: Dash in a direction and then move the stick to the opposite side you dashed without passing it through the neutral position. Moonwalking is easiest with Link so if you're trying to work your way up start with him.

Also, moonwalking is pretty flashy but spacies don't find much real use in it. Even for Captain Falcon the techniques utility is limited.

Have you watched any Moonwalking tutorials, like this one?

Moonwalking with Fox is done out of the walking animation at full speed. If you walk at full speed to the left and do a moonwalk starting from the right, it should work, and vice versa. You don't do it out of a dash. Wavdashing gets you to max walk speed.
