Guys, take a look at the question before redirecting or giving an uninformative answer. There's no use in redirecting if your post can just be used to answer the question and be done with it.
Pit can glide by performing a second, third, or fourth jump and holding down the jump button. While Pit is gliding, you can aim his direction by tilting the control stick up and down. You can also perform a powerful attack by pressing the A button while gliding.
