Smash Wii U Help with trophy shop?

So, I've just beaten Classic with every character, but I still need the alt trophies of Zelda, Meta Knight, Fox and Charizard, in addition to the Ray Gun. Once I have all of those, I'll have all the random trophies in the game, with only Prince of Sable and Majora's Mask left to obtain. So, the question is, does anyone know the amount of time it takes for the Trophy Shop to fully change it's inventory?

I think you have to play a mode for the trophy shop to change it's inventory. I play trophy rush to get most of my trophies. A two minute match should cause the trophy shop to change.

Yeah, I usually find that entering another mode, playing it for a few minutes and coming back will refresh the trophy shop's inventory.

Obviously you have to be playing the game itself for that to work - fiddling about in the menus or watching videos will not count, for example, only in-game battles will allow it to refresh.

I know that much, but it only tends to refresh about 2 trophies at a time, which really isn't helping my search much. Are the trophy restocks time-based at all, as in how long you spend in a particular mode?

You do have to play a match for a certain amount of time before the Trophy Shop's trophy options change. Just doing one quick match will not be enough.

Playing through Classic or All-Star does the trick for me. Quite honestly, your best bet is to just forget about it and wait for it to restock of its own accord, otherwise you'll just be playing incessantly without any real purpose behind it.

I've also found that letting my amiibos do matches seems to have an affect on the trophy shop too, though I've only tried it the once, and it may be pure speculation. I'll wait until the end of their current match to see if there's any validity to it or not, but it did help me get Charizard's Alt

Edit: Yep, amiibo matches definitely work too
