Help with stage expansion

So I have a custom css screen and a whole bunch of added stuff on the sss screen to. I've tried to use the stage expansion but the common5 overwrites all my stuff and when i try to use it without it the icons for the stages are all messed up. Is there a way to use the stage expansion without getting rid of my own common5 file?

custom character select screen with different portraits and such, the stage select has different stage portraits, icons, etc since there's a bunch of stages that have been replaced.

Okay. What you could try is to export the sc_selcharacter_en.pac from your common5 to the stage expansion one, and then replace the corresponding stage icons in the other common5 with your own ones.
