I always try to space my attacks and stay out of range of someone elses attacks. This is how I was playing for a long time. I was watching videos and it dawned on me that people where spacing "possible" attacks. It looked like they where spacing possible dash then ariel attacks to take advantage of landing lag or shielding.Am I right to think I should space all possible attacks from a character at all times. The attacks that come out quick like a running sex kick or something.I always watch out for attacks like these but I never thought of actively spacing them constantly.Im thinking yes yes yes but would like more information.

range shouldn't be the most important part to space, movement is far more important. range is much easier to space and is also more likly to be punished by people baiting you, it's like punishing for playing smart. movement makes it impossible to hit you AND makes them wiff their attacks and for you to punsh them. smart mocement is better than smart sword spacing I wih I figured that out sooner.

both together is important. No matter how perfectly you space your range it's still possible to punish though sheilding/mindgames/baiting. Because everyone in the game needs good spacing even pichuand I do space with his range for upair cause it outrange nearly every dair when spaced.
