Help with my wavebird?

yeah...my wavebird's been broken for some time now. It's like, most of the buttons work, all the sticks work, but the Z button is messed up. I think it might have banged against something. When I push the Z button, it counts it as pushing A-A-B. Other than the Z Button it works perfectly. But so many games need the Z button, so that's a bit of a problem.

I don't have the right screwdriver so I can't open it up and take a look. The guys at Play N' Trade and Gamestop couldn't do anything. They said they couldn't repair anything by Nintendo. WDF?

lol, there's probably some dirt and dust inside triggering as you press the z button.
maybe there's some faulty wiring.

i bought 6 game boy pockets that were "broken" on ebay before, and for at least 3 of them, i just had to open and wipe em down with some alcohol. but i did manage to revive 5/6 :D

so just clean all the dirt/sweat buildup from inside and whatnot.
