help with my marth

Ok guys i am new to the forums and i just picked up marth. i have the basics down but i cannot seem to complete the ken combo SH nair L-cancels while running. can anyone give me tips on how to get the SH in with the joystick while dashing and then on when to nair. whenever i do get the SH while dashing the nair's second slash doesnt come out and i land. i have tried doing it in training but can't seem to get it down. thanks.

Your not nairing fast enough. You can essentially sh nair fastfall and if you nair fast enough you don't even need to l-cancel as the move will cancel itself. Normally doing it that fast isn't always useful as you can actually miss players on the ground. Just sh nair then wait for the 2nd hit before fastfall l-canceling.
