Help with Hacking

So I tried to hack Project M/Brawl for the first time. So, I tried replacing one of Sonic's palettes in Project M with a Megaman X Armored Sonic hack I found in the BrawlVault. I used the Brawl Costume Manager. I added the models, textures, CSP, HUD icon, and Victory Screen Portrait. When I boot up Project M and try to play as the alt costume I added, the CSP perfectly shows, but when I try to enter a match, the game crashes after I choose a stage! Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I'm using the nohomebrew version of Project M.
