ok i have a tourny in 2 weeks and my problem is with falco is a can't seem to break fox cg early. ok heres my story, I had a tourny a few weeks ago. i had to play my friend who uses fox. Before you say what maps we played it was bo3 all FD. Okay so i was knocking him down with good combos and stuff. Then the tables started to turn. When he got that first grab off me he cg me up to at least 76% and finished me off with a up smash. At times i was able to D.I. one way and he ran the other way and i was safe for a while. But i did win the match to advance to the next round but every time i won the two rounds i finished with 1 stock with high % or with 2 stock with %. I'm not mad or nothing it's just that the only way he got his kills was cg me. he did a few moves here and there but his main thing was cg me. Can someone give me a tip on how to break foxes cg so this won't happen again. Also if anyone cares i placed 3rd

You can try and trick them when you're DI'ing. Or you can DI off the stage so he can't CG you anymore. Or you try and throw a shine in if he's not accurate with his grabs. Or at high percents you can jump out of it.

Try those and come back :)

even though the laws of DI say that this doesn't work, it works for me

DI up, then shine out of the CG, the proceed to combo

can get you out around 45%ish i think

the fox grabbed the wrong way, and possibly a bit too early.

But yeah, that's how you break it

DI up and shine, you should be getting out in the 30%s unless he does a pivot grab.
