I've been playing Falco for a while now, know a good bit of his combo/laser game, but I can't seem to consistently jump out of his shine when it connects. I know it's from the hitlag, but I still can't seem to do it too well when I try to compensate for it. My friend and I play with the input assist on (he can't play nearly as well with it off, so we turn it on when he's here) and I can do it fine, but when I turn it off it just all goes downhill lmfaoo.
Can somebody possibly break down the timing of it for me? I think I'm doing it too early, but maybe it's too late. Help appreciated!

3 frames isn't that long. When I start doing it too quickly I just try my best to not hit y(x?) and b at the same time. If your friend is serious you should play without buffer.

Yeahh, it really isn't that long lol, but when you go from hitting Shine and Jump almost simultaneously to about 1/2 to 1/3 of a second in between, it seems like it hahah. But, eh. I'll just keep workin' with it. And He does play seriously most of the time, but he gets hella butthurt easily when his inputs don't come out or if I start a cool ass combo on him, then starts playing in the most annoying way possible. I take it as a compliment, though lmfaoo.
