NOTE ~ I'm really not sure if this goes here, as this section only deals with computers; what I'm having trouble with is not a computer, but something else that involves technology, and I can't find another section for what I'm looking for, so if this goes somewhere else, I don't mind a bit if you move this, mods.
Okay, with that said, I'm having trouble deciding whether I want a portable DVD player or not, and what kind I should choose. Long story short, I want to be able to watch DVDs down at my aunt and uncle's lake, but there is no electricity there. My main question is: "Do portable DVD players have to plug into an outlet?"
I know it seems like a stupid question to ask, but I heard from my friend that they do have to plug into something in order to play. My mother states that it only needs to plug in to charge rather than to play DVDs. Which one is right? What DVD player should I buy, like what brand, or something?
In my opinion, it would be pretty pointless to have to plug it into something, considering that it's portable, and you can just take any old DVD player with you to a place that does have electricity. You know what I mean?

On another note, my printer's not working, I click to print something, and it say's it's ready and that it's printing, but it still doesn't print. What can I do about this?
