Help with custom music and stages

From what I understand, to put custom music and stages in Project M 3.5 all I have to do is drag and drop the files into the correct folders. So after adding a song, and trying to boot via hackless my brawl freezes up on the custom stage select screen and I cannot boot into PM.

All I added was a song from here
downloaded as X04.brstm and dropped in projectm/pf/sound/strm

Is that file the only change you made?
Does it work without adding that file?
