Help With Creating a Custom Build

Hi, sorry if this is something which I can find elsewhere but I'm wondering if I can get a general guide on everything I need to know for creating a custom PM build. Please explain as if I were 5 (or refer me to the appropriate thread) everything I need to know to start from vanilla hackless PM 3.02 and add in custom skins, CSPs, CSS, stages, and sfx. All I know how to do is put in music. Thanks!
