so there's an online tourney i'm helping to organize and this is my description on the ruling of chain grabs/ infinites. thoughts anyone?
Chain throws for the most part add to the meta game of the match. For example, what would Dededee or Falco be without his chain throws? But when a Chain Throw is inescapable to an unlimited % it becomes a game break as there is no skill required really and it should = an automatic stock loss. For this reason Chain Throws will be allowed IF one or more of the following applies to them:
-Only can be done within a certain % bracket
-Can be escaped with DI/air Dodge/Tech roll... etc.
Note that these rules apply regardless of circumstances. Meaning that if you use a character that has a chain grab that becomes an infinite against certain characters, you MAY use that chain grab against any character EXCEPT the ones it becomes an infinite against.
