help with advanced Falco strats

SHL:

-How to do it while moving without Phantasm off the edge to death? I try to gently tilt the joystick but while you're trying to move fast its hard not to do SideB (at least for me)
-whats the timing of the fast fall? short hop, laser, then tap down immediately after B? sometimes I fast fall too fast and do a fake out laser...or I dont do it fast enouogh
-can you L cancel it or not?

Pillaring:
-is it an L cancelled dair to shine? How do you jump cancel a shine, i dont get it?
-overall how does this technique work?
-how do you escape it if a falco is doing it to you?

Other approaches:

SHFFLED nairs? Bair edgeguard? Recovery strategies to avoid pwnaded edgeguarding?

Mostly though i am interested in SHL and pillaring, cause I can't do them and I want to learn how...any helpful advice is appreciated thanks

For a moving SHL, move your control stick forward so that you move in the desired direction. Then jump and fire a laser. Follow up with a fastfall which is after you fire the laser. You can only cancel aerials not special moves.

Jump cancel shine=Shine and then jump to cancel it

You dash, short hop, let go of the Control Stick, blaster then fastfall.

You need to shoot the laser earlier.

The laser autocancels.

Pillaring is shffl'd dair to shine. Jump canceling a shine is done by... jumping... after... a... shine...

And you roll to escape it. Or jump.

Not an expert on this but the basic approach is probably SHL>Nair/Dair.

have you ever tried SHL -> grab?

or use SHL as a variation similar to thunders' combo? (yeah thats not an approach but more of a followup)

edge techs prevents you from being "pwnaded" lol

The problem is Falco doesn't have anything super useful that he can do out of his grabs. If you can pillar shields, that would be better.

What the heck is an edgetech? i am not familiar with that....i bet if i knew what it was i could get THAT much better. Does Marth/everyone else have it as well?

DI into the ledge as you're hit and tech it so you don't go flying if you don't sweetspot.

So it is basically a tech off of another surface other than just the ground? Example-the bottom surface wall in hyrule?
